WHAT TO EXPECT

Blending theory with somatic experiential learning, this workshop uses the lens of Polivagal theory and the 3 Gunas (yogic qualities of nature) to help you:

  • Learn how your nervous system works in daily life,

  • Identify your 3 innate nervous-system states, patterns and (intelligent) responses.

  • Practice accesible and effective tools to feel calmer and safer in your body.

  • Explore movement, breath, and somatic exercises that promote regulation.

  • Learn how to support yourself during stress, recover more quickly from overwhelm, and feel supported, both within yourself and in connection with others

  • Cultivate self-awareness and compassion for yourself and others in stressful moments.

For Whom

This workshop welcomes anyone drawn to understanding the rhythms of their nervous system and how safety, stress, and connection are lived in the body. It is for those seeking steadiness, self-understanding, and greater ease in relationship with themselves and others.

It is particularly supportive for those who hold space for others, yoga teachers, facilitators, therapists, educators, and caregivers, offering insight into self-regulation, co-regulation, and the importance of tending to one’s own nervous system as the foundation for holding others.
